Eija Kolehmainen lunasti Emronin omistukseensa kuutisen vuotta sitten. Sen jälkeen kankaan- päälaisyritys on takonut vuosi vuodelta parempaa tulosta.
Cheerful, friendly and expert service - this sums up the feedback from customers about Emron. Sealing is easy to buy and believe. Positivity cannot be transmitted through a video call. Emron doesn't have a quiet moment. Embroidery machines are clattering, presses are running hot, goods are being packed, and you can hear happy voices in the background.
The soul of Emron is CEO-owner Eija Kolehmainen, 56. Kolehmainen has a smile on his face and plenty of stories to tell. But the talk is not empty. Kolehmainen, who worked in the banking industry as a corporate account manager, Ely/EU project manager and business advisor for years, jumped into becoming an entrepreneur himself six years ago. In total, Emron's history is about 20 years.
- I had to redeem what I have taught others over the years, Eija Kolehmainen grins and continues:
- I bought this alone and my daughter came along to do the accounting and help. We have gradually grown from that.
A family business, then. Family is also important to the business boss: when you don't have a keyboard, pocket calculator or phone in your hands, you can run into him at the padel booth, at the gym and cycling. They say there are already eight grandchildren, so it's a good idea to stay fit and active.
Emron is located in Satakunta, in the center of Kankaanpää. There are now four employees plus occasional helpers. Before the acquisition, the industry was largely limited to embroidery. Now the service offering is wider.
Emron sells heavier work clothes, profile clothes and staff and business gifts. With the help of the products, customers get to present their company in different ways. The production is in our own, competent hands, so the customer gets what he wants quite flexibly and on a fast schedule.
- There are a lot of hoodies, jackets, tube scarves and work clothes. Brands include Clique's better quality products and Craft's clothing. Kolehmainen lists Blåkläder and Snickers as work clothes.
Emron's domain is not limited to Satakunta, as more than 70 percent of the turnover comes from trade elsewhere in Finland. An old business advisor has kept in mind that there is no reason to trust only one industry in customers. Otherwise, things can get weird if some industry falls.
The company is in a growth career. In 2023, the turnover will fall above half a million for the first time. Emron is a fresh gambler from the New Wave Profilen network.
What is Emron's secret? Why does the trade work?
- That's what we've thought about here. Our customers leave with a smile - even the grumpy ones. Customers don't have time to chat for a long time, so you have to know how to quickly adapt to the everyday life of an entrepreneur and understand what customers want. You have to be efficient and strike while the iron is hot. Quickly and with high quality, Kolehmainen thinks.
Let's add personality. Kolehminen's good humor is contagious and he is persuasive - let's deal with the customer. Even though the atmosphere is relaxed, there is no fussing or running around for nothing.
